So let’s chat a bit…

Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. It can be overwhelming to decide.

For this reason, when you’ve made your choice, and it’s time to start menu planning, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It may just have you returning to the beginning.

Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Pretty basic stuff, right?

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…

Food and beverages that one diet doesn’t permit, an entirely different diet fully encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And one thing that’s clear… Food videos are usually 100% tough to resist. 😉

But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Makes sense to me. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.

Clearly, this is common-sense weight loss. And it probably has that designation for a reason!

Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And you may not want to play around with those.

At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
